AFTER DAKSHA INSULTED SATI’S HUSBAND, SHIVA, LEADING HIM TO THROW HIMSELF INTO A FIRE, HE WAS KILLED BY THE ENRAGED SHIVA. HE WAS LATER RESTORED TO LIFE WITH THE HEAD OF A GOAT.
